I HAD LOTS OF REQUESTS FOR PICTURES!
So here are a few to show you the progress of us moving in. We bought this
as our "seasonal" house. Tucson has a much milder winter than Michigan.
So we plan to spend our winters here. Eventually we plan to move out to
Tucson permanently.

The outside of our new house at sunset time. This was a
foreclosure house that we bought. It has a few problems but we
think we can overcome them. Please spend a few moments to look
through the progress of our moving in. |

We spent quite a bit of time working to
get this place. After we closed on the deal, Bob drove out to get
the move started. Then I flew out in a few days to join him.
Here is the sunset the first night I was there. I arrived not too
long before this picture was taken. It was cold in Michigan and
much, much warmer in Arizona. |

Smoochie! So glad
to be with my husband again! |

Since the house came with
only curtains and a built-in dishwasher, we had to get "stuff". Bob
brought out our bed and bedding plus 2 lawn chairs and a lawn table.
This picture shows our first used chair we got. It was quite dirty
and has a hole in the back. But a bit of elbow grease got rid of
the dirt and it was a welcomed relief to be able to sit down! |

This is the garage.
Bob brought a Coleman stove with him. He used that to cook our supper one
night until we could get our appliances delivered and installed.
The water heater was there in the house so we didn't have to buy one of
those. It has taken us a while to get it set for the right
temperatures for our needs. Bob is the cook. It was hard to
bend over and cook SLOWLY on this stove. We ate our dinners out a
couple of times until we got everything installed. |

This is the door into the house from the garage. |

Looking from the door to the garage in the living room toward the
kitchen/dinning room area. It is all open. As you can see,
we have tubs that Bob brought with some of our stuff. The counter
seems to be a spot for papers!
The door in this picture goes out to the covered patio. It has a
metal security door on the outside too.
The floors are this nice tile. It needs to be cleaned though.
The house has been empty for quite a while. |

As you can see, the kitchen needs lots of work.
We had to go pick out our appliances.
You can see down the hall (left side of picture). The door at the
end is a nice linen closet. |

Another shot of the kitchen. Lots of work needs to be done! |

This is the second used chair we bought. I needed a chair so I
could work on my computer! This one was a bit dirty but the elbow
grease helped with it too. It is a comfortable office chair and
went into my "office" as soon as it was cleaned up. |
