Projects I made with these designs
![]() |
| A close-up of the dresser scarf I made with the Roses N Rings designs. |
![]() |
| Here is a shot of the full dresser scarf. It is 34-1/2 x 10-1/2 inches. The color is really a lot better than in this picture. I used white rayon threads on my linen fabric. It really is stunning. |

| Here is a fun doily I made with the Tiny Scallops designs. It is about 12-1/2 x 5 inches. I combined the parts of the design so that you can easily stitch this out just like I did in a single hooping for the Viking Mega Hoop. I used rayon thread on my medium-weight yellow linen. If I wanted the entredeux stitches to look more traditional, I would have used a thread color the same as the fabric. I like the contrast in this one though. I used a wing needle for the first color which is the entredeux stitches. This was really fun! |

| Here I used the same color and thread combinations in the Janome Macro Hoop with the Tiny Scallops. I used a thread color close to the fabric so the entredeux stitches don't show up as much in this picture. It is about 7 x 9-1/2 inches. Wouldn't this look great with a monogram in the middle? |
| These Tiny Scallops would be great along the bottom of a sweet baby outfit or on the apron of your favorite doll costume! |

| Here is the same doily I did on the Brother Innovis 4000D. It is about 7 x 9-1/2 inches. My daughter didn't like the colors but I thought it was bright and cheerful. |

| Here I used the Tiny Scallops for a single hooping in the Janome 8x8 inch hoop on the Janome MC11000. Although you can't really tell in the picture, this was done on a very fine batiste fabric. I used 60 weight thread in both the bobbin and on top. It makes a small hankie. It is almost as light as air! I told my daughter that I was making a hankie and she said that you would have to have a tiny nose to use it! It is very delicate and pretty. The size is about 7 x 7 inches. I made another one (not shown) that is the same combination except I used a silk thread for the entredeux stitches and used a fairly pale peach. I used 60 weight threads for the scallops in a pale green - very pretty. |

| Here is a border of the Hearts Scallops. This would be great on the edge of a pillowcase. |
![]() |
| Here is a pillowcase I made with the Posies Scallops designs. I used a lovely bone colored 100% linen fabric. I have instructions included on how to make the edges of the scallops so that the edges are completely finished like in my examples. |
![]() |
| Here is a close up of part of the pillowcase. I made this with the Viking Endless Hoop - pretty easy to do. |
![]() |
| Here is a single section of the Posies Scallops with a different color scallop. You can use any colors you like. I love pastels and especially mint. |
![]() |
| Here are the Yellow Roses. I am going to make a pillowcase for my sister with these designs. You can change the colors to anything you like. |
![]() |
| Here is a picture of the bonus Roses N Rings design. I used a gold metallic thread for the rings. This design is fairly large and would be great to use as a gift for a wedding or anniversary. It really looks great with companion designs. |

| Here is my stitchout of the bonus Rings N Roses in redwork. You get both of the designs when you order. This is the same as above - just done all in one color. It works up VERY quickly. |
Here is a beautiful and romantic idea!

Here is a picture of a project that Dee made. She wrote to me that she made it for her cousin's son to ask his girlfriend to marry him. She customized her hankie with several designs and some words that Carolyn Faulk made for her. Dee told me, "Thanks for making it easy on me with the scallops." Click here to go to Dee's site.
What a pretty and VERY romantic idea! I hope she says "yes" to his proposal ! Really nice idea. |

Roxanne say, here are "pictures of the scallops I put on my DGD Christening gown. I had them all the way around the bottom of the gown, at the bottom of the yoke, and around the bonnet. They sewed out beautifully." |
Here is a closer view. |
|
What a beautiful job you did! I'm sure your whole family is very proud of the beautiful gown you made. The bonnet is just precious! |
